Flamborough YMCA
The Hamilton / Burlington YMCA competition submission was concerned that the facility - which is to include meeting rooms, an aquatic centre, a conditioning centre and a gymnasium - would obstruct the existing park's vistas. The design proposal addressed those concerns with a contextually sensitive, predominantly glass design.
