Cabbagetown Coach House

Well planned space, a rich palette of materials and access to the outdoors contribute to the modest former carriage house. In the kitchen, light natural maple was used for the floor and kitchen island. The island was capped with brushed stainless steel and a custom 4" thick butcher block.
The dining and living room floors were made from matte black slate, as was the fireplace mantle and the treads of the staircase. An arrangement of wood cabinetry panels and doors enfolds an elaborate AV/home entertainment system and home office.
