River Plaza
St. Louis, Missouri
The city of St. Louis held a limited design competition to create a new public space. As one of the finalists, CORE proposed a River Plaza that was vibrant, vital and variegated. Boldly renouncing overt representations of form in favour of atmosphere the project used a range of effects - fog, shadow, light - to create an environment that symbolizes our connection to nature. In this manner, the project firmly connects the individual to nature.
