New Associate Appointments

In recognition of their exceptional contribution to our client’s needs, professionalism, design expertise and leadership while advancing the firm’s values, we are pleased to announce the following  Associate promotions and appointments.

Dena Mousapour – Senior Associate

Dena graduated from the Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran in 2007 with a Bachelor of Architecture. She has over thirteen years of project architect experience, including master-planning, recreational and sports facilities, and performing art centres.

Dena joined CORE in 2013 and was promoted to Associate in 2018. While she has been involved in all stages of project delivery, her strong background in design has been an asset to the firm during the concept design and design development phases of various projects. She has worked on notable projects including The One, M City Condominiums Phase 1 and 3, and several of our projects in Dubai.

Georgia Siourounis – Senior Associate

Georgia studied Architecture at Ryerson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Architectural Science in 2007. She joined CORE in 2012 and was promoted to Associate in 2018.

She has taken a lead role in the master-planned community at Central Park and for the technically complex office and condominium conversion of The Residences of 488 University. She has been responsible for ensuring positive client experiences, managing consultants and trades, communicating with city officials, and coordinating with the Toronto Transit Commission all while maintaining the integrity of the established design intent.

Kevin Saunders – Associate

Kevin Saunders attended Sheridan College for Architectural Technology. After graduating in 2012, he joined a firm that specialized in retail design and working drawings; where he worked on over 100+ Tim Hortons in addition to developing and maintaining Tim Hortons generic model drawing sets. He also worked on other retail and service projects including Whitespot, Wendy’s, Food Basics, Metro, and Wine Rack, in addition to preparing ID design proposals for A&W/Petro Canada, Winners/Homesense on Bloor St, and the York Lanes (York University mall) renovation.

Kevin joined CORE in 2014 and is involved in numerous condominium projects including Allenbury, The Harlowe, DuEast, The One and most recently on Crosstown Blocks 1 and 12. Kevin is directly involved in managing projects from the onset through all phases, he is the point of contact for client support and correspondence, consultant and trade coordination, including correspondence with Building and Planning City staff.
