Lifetime’s proposed development at King and Dufferin

Our client Lifetime Developments has submitted a development proposal to the City of Toronto for the rezoning of 1182 and 1221 King West to allow the construction of two condominium towers at the northeast and southwest corners of King and Dufferin. Lifetime’s proposed development at King and Dufferin addresses an area that is rapidly gentrifying with Liberty Village to the East, and it represents a transitional area of Parkdale, which is marked by a growing population of young urban professionals, cafes, boutique restaurants, and bars.

The two towers are 220 feet and 19 storeys and 239 feet and 21 storeys in height. There are approximately 745 residential suites planned for the two developments including nearly 58,000 square feet of retail space. 1221 King West, the 19-storey tower would have 301 residential suites and 24,111 square feet of ground-level retail space. 1182 King West would have 444 residential suites and considerably more street-level retail.
