CORE’s Second Amazing Race Team Building Challenge

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, CORE recently hosted its second annual Amazing Race Team Building Challenge. Organized by Partner Elizabeth Vu-Campbell, the event once again encouraged participants to step outside of their day-to-day roles and collaborate in a fast-paced, engaging environment.

Five teams competed head-to-head in a race through the local neighbourhood, covering 3.1 kilometres while solving a series of clues and completing interactive challenges. Throughout the course, teams worked together to solve 14 clues, including five hands-on challenges that tested communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Local businesses once again became part of the experience by hosting several challenges, including rock climbing, espresso shots, and a beer can identification activity, adding another layer of excitement to the day.

The close competition kept teams on their toes from start to finish, with every clue and challenge playing a role in determining the final standings. The race culminated in an exciting finish as multiple teams sprinted back to the office almost simultaneously, making it one of the closest finishes yet.

In the end, Not 2 Scale, Not 2 Furious, with team members Dena Mousapour, Corey Tallevi-Keller, and Derek Cariglia, claimed first place. Despite competing with one fewer teammate, the team demonstrated determination, quick thinking, and exceptional teamwork to secure the victory.

“It was amazing to see how close the competition was this year,” said Partner Elizabeth Vu-Campbell. “Watching everyone work together and support one another made the day incredibly rewarding. The energy and enthusiasm from every team made this year’s Amazing Race another great success.”

The continued success of CORE’s Amazing Race Team Building Challenge reflects the collaborative spirit that defines our studio. Congratulations to this year’s champions, Not 2 Scale, Not 2 Furious, and to all participants for making the event another memorable day of teamwork, friendly competition, and fun. A special thank you to the volunteers, local businesses, and everyone who helped bring this year’s Amazing Race to life.
