CORE Academy: Empowering Learning and Knowledge-Sharing Across the Office
Last year, CORE introduced CORE Academy, an internal initiative designed to support learning and promote knowledge-sharing across the office. Led by senior team members, including partners, associates, and project managers, each session follows a structured 45-minute format, featuring a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute group discussion.
Sessions are driven by senior staff who volunteer to share insights on topics they are passionate about, drawing from their professional experience and expertise. The content is closely tied to the day-to-day work of the studio, offering practical guidance that can be immediately applied to active projects. This approach provides junior team members with valuable exposure to a wide range of perspectives, tools, and strategies from across the firm.
To ensure continued access and long-term value, all sessions are recorded and supported by archived presentation materials. Topics covered to date include property lines and grids, shoring systems, ground floor planning, podium design, slab edge detailing, and Bluebeam workflows.
Looking ahead, CORE Academy will continue to expand, introducing new sessions that respond to evolving project demands and industry developments. The program remains focused on strengthening internal knowledge-sharing, supporting senior staff in sharing their expertise while equipping junior team members with practical skills to elevate their work. As it grows, CORE Academy will play an increasingly important role in keeping the team aligned, informed, and continuously developing.
