Partner Lili Vu-Campbell and Project Manager Martina Graham-Harvey Represent CORE At IRDC
Partner Lili Vu-Campbell and Project Manager Martina Graham-Harvey represented CORE last week at the annual International Retail Design Conference (IRDC), held this year in Providence, Rhode Island. The event once again delivered an inspiring blend of innovation, networking, and design thinking. From keynote sessions to hands-on workshops, it was an invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow professionals and explore what’s next in retail design.
This year marks IRDC’s 25th anniversary, a milestone celebrating a quarter-century of connecting some of the most creative and forward-thinking professionals in the retail design industry. Each year, the conference offers designers, strategists, creatives, and brand leaders a space to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the ever-evolving world of retail experiences.
One of the key themes that resonated was Gen Z’s influence on the future of retail. Discussions and presentations highlighted how this generation’s values, authenticity, and immersive experiences are redefining how brands connect with consumers. The event offered deep insights into how these shifts are shaping not only store design but also the broader experiential landscape.
A standout moment of the conference was Martina’s participation in the iconic Iron Merchant Challenge, a fast-paced, collaborative design competition that tests creativity under pressure. Working alongside talented peers from across the industry, Martina helped craft a visually stunning and imaginative display.
CORE left Providence inspired, informed, and energized by the incredible ideas and connections shared throughout the conference. As a team, we look ahead to upcoming projects, excited to apply these learnings and continue pushing the boundaries of what retail design can be.
