Langmuir Residence

The rear of this house, in a traditional neighbourhood, was completely removed and a new, modern space was added which addresses the living, dining, and kitchen areas.

Douglas Fir beam structure

The design features a Douglas Fir beam structure that frames an outdoor porch that acts as a dining extension to the interior space.

Rear yard extension

The rear yard was also seen as an extension of the design and incorporated new flagstone paving and a water feature. CORE’s interior design studio also used Owen Sound Ledgerock, Ipe flooring, and Douglas Fir as the main materials, giving the renovation a rugged yet polished feeling.
