Brick warehouse vernacular

Drawing upon the downtown Toronto glass box aesthetic, OneEleven Bathurst condominium melds the glass and brick warehouse vernacular of the King West area with a distinctive loft-style condo design. The façade creates a rhythm of voids and volumes punctuated by balconies that combine to create a modern building of considerable visual interest while still speaking the language of the area’s past.

Light-filled views

The 17-story condominium has 255 units and 41 unique floor plans that range from 655 to 1,934 square feet. The units, with ceiling heights ranging from eight to 11 feet, have low e-coated floor-to-ceiling windows and open-concept designs that maximize the light-filled views.

In-and-out design

The exterior’s in-and-out design allows for substantive balconies and terraces in eighty percent of the units, some of which are nearly as large as the indoor units themselves. One of the condo’s unconventional characteristics is that there are twelve two-story penthouse suite layouts located throughout the different levels of the building. These panoramic suites have over 1,500 square feet of terrace.

Varying spatial design

The varying spatial design achieved through numerous unique floor plans and scattered penthouse suites reflects the building’s unique outward appearance. This creates a dynamic interior and exterior design that complements the diversity of the surrounding area.
